While I was away...

So I know its been a week since my last post....little too long....they will def be more frequent than this BUT this whole blog post is about the reason why it I was gone so long!

My boyfriend has been out of the country for a month and he just returned on Wednesday, so have def been spending time with him and just hanging out really trying to forget about the internet world.

His traveling back to the US didnt go so smoothly, having many delays from Houston, TX waiting to get back to Cleveland. Soo finally when hes gets back at 12:30 am - waiting for his luggage on the conveyer belt... it never shows up.

Finally strolls over the the baggage claim only the find his duffle bag in total shambles

aka - clothes bulging out, bag beat to shit...and only held together by packing tape.

- WTF?!?!?-

have never seen this is my entire life

Later came to find out that his bag looked awfully suspicious, and since returning from another country, we came to the conclusion that his bag had def been sliced open and searched.

While un-packing it and finding all the things that were sliced along with his bag in this search he found one of his favorite hoodies with slices in it - 1 up close to the henley opening and the other 2 on the pocket...

Good thing his girlfriend is a fashion designer.

Creativeness is action

So today, this blog post is during anxious awaiting to leave for Columbus for my 2nd interview for a design position with Abercrombie & Fitch tomorrow!!

Which came about from my recent 2 1/2 wk excursion to NYC in pursuit of my first job as a fashion school grad. During my time in NYC I did a project and had a couple meetings with a recruter from Abercrombie...blah blah blah... it lead me back to my parents house for a week.

I town in super small town where there is really nothing to do at all & not many friends left here to hang out with sooo coming back is suuuuuper boring!

OMG coshocton for week - wtf am I going to do???

My trip to NY was highly inspirational created a huge build up of creative ideas..so the itch to create took over =)

Jewlery was the choosen craft

Ring - made from a medium sized washer, various beads, wire & leather!

This is an Earring Screen!

Found the round base of it at the flower factory & wasn't really sure what they were supposed to be for, but I really liked the designs in them so just bought them & then thought of the idea of making an earring screen!

All of the chains for these I found at the local Antique Mall - which btw a MECA of awesome jewlery!! I now want to go to every Antique mall & Flea Market that I ever see!

I had alot of fun making these! I would absolutely loooove to start an etsy account & make more to sell!

So maybe give some opinions & feedback - let me know whatcha think & if I should pursue making more??
